Esala Plains Truffle

Esala Plains FabricSCF0097-29

Esala Plains Truffle is a softly textured plain weave in a warm taupe-brown shade. Fine tonal variation across the surface gives this understated colourway a gently heathered appearance rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The weave combines muted truffle, brown and grey notes, creating a warm taupe that deepens subtly where the surface catches the light. Its plain construction has no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, making the 138 cm usable width straightforward to work with across upholstery and drapery applications. At 370 gsm, with 81 threads per centimetre, the cloth has a substantial, closely woven handle suited to seating as well as curtains. The restrained texture keeps the colourway smart while preserving the relaxed character of a natural-looking plain.

How to use it

Use this warm truffle taupe on an occasional chair, sofa or full-length curtain where its softly mottled surface can sit alongside cream upholstery, dark timber and aged metal. Its neutral brown-grey depth is especially effective for adding warmth without introducing a strong pattern.

Pair the warm truffle taupe with natural timber, soft cream and aged brass for a quietly layered interior.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
