Ballari Hopsack

Esala FabricSCF0095-01

Ballari Hopsack is shown in a softly greyed taupe, with fine cream fern-like leaves arranged in an even, airy repeat. The restrained contrast lets the woven hopsack texture remain part of the design.

About this fabric

The taupe ground has a cool, muted cast rather than a warm brown undertone, while the cream leaf motifs appear softly defined against it. Each stylised frond is built from delicate branching lines, creating a light botanical rhythm across the cloth. With a 339gsm weight and 138cm usable width, this is a substantial furnishing fabric suited to upholstery. The vertical repeat is 24cm and the horizontal repeat is 26.4cm, giving the pattern a regular, medium-scale layout.

How to use it

Use this calm taupe colourway on an armchair, dining seat or headboard where its cream foliage can sit quietly alongside pale timber, chalky walls and textured neutrals.

Use the softly greyed taupe ground to calm warm wood, natural fibres and cream accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ballari Hopsack without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
