Soho Fabric

Soho Linen is a softly balanced taupe-grey textile with a fine, closely woven surface. Its plain appearance lets the subtle variation in the weave provide the visual interest.

About this fabric

This colourway sits between warm beige and gentle grey, creating a muted neutral tone rather than a stark or highly coloured finish. The image shows a small-scale, even weave with delicate surface variation that becomes more apparent at close range. There is no printed motif; the character comes entirely from the finely textured woven ground. As no further composition, width or performance specification was supplied, the fabric is presented here according to its visible textile quality.

How to use it

Use the soft taupe-grey tone on a tailored chair, sofa or relaxed curtain to add quiet depth without making the room feel heavy. It works particularly well alongside chalky whites, natural timber and other understated neutrals.

Use this quiet taupe-grey neutral to soften upholstery or bring understated texture to drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
