About this fabric

Viewed close up, Soho Ochre is a plain weave rather than a printed or patterned cloth. Its dense, even surface shifts between mustard, honey and earthy brown as the tiny threads catch the light, giving the colour depth without a glossy sheen. The compact woven appearance gives this fabric a more structured upholstery reading than a fine, fluid drapery cloth. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this colourway, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use this warm ochre-gold shade to add grounded colour to an armchair, sofa or dining seat, particularly alongside walnut, natural oak, tan leather and muted neutrals. Its finely textured plain weave can also provide a calm, unpatterned counterpoint to stronger geometric or botanical fabrics.

A dense, finely woven ochre textile that brings warm golden depth to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
