About this fabric

The surface is visibly woven with tiny, even horizontal and vertical threads, creating a subtle basket-like texture rather than a printed motif. Pumice has a quiet, stone-inspired tone: warmer than a pure grey but considerably softer than a pronounced brown or beige. The fine weave gives the colour a lightly mottled depth as the threads catch the light. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Soho Pumice on tailored upholstery or simple curtains where its warm taupe-grey tone can soften darker timber, chalky neutrals and textured natural finishes without dominating the room.

A softly muted taupe-grey ground with a fine woven texture, suited to calm, tailored interiors.

Pairs well with

Soho Pumice is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
