Greenwich Putty

Plains & Semi Plains Fabric

Greenwich Putty is a softly muted neutral with a fine woven finish and a gently chalky putty-taupe tone. The small herringbone-like texture gives the surface a quiet depth without reading as patterned from a distance.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% recycled polyester, Greenwich Putty has a practical, contemporary composition that suits everyday interiors. The cloth is 150cm wide and has a 10cm pattern repeat, though the design reads as a subtle textural plain rather than a bold repeat. In this colourway the shade sits between beige and grey, with a warm putty cast that feels softened and restful rather than stark. The fine weave catches the light lightly across the surface, adding a dry, tailored look with just enough texture to hold interest.

How to use it

Use Greenwich Putty for relaxed sofas, bench cushions or Roman blinds where a calm, refined neutral is needed. Its soft taupe tone pairs easily with natural timber, stone, black accents and other layered neutrals.

A calm neutral that works neatly across tailored upholstery and understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
