About this fabric

This upholstery fabric from Fryett's Fabrics has a 140cm width and a 65cm vertical by 35cm horizontal pattern repeat, making the large leaf design easy to plan across larger pieces. The cloth is made from 15% cotton and 85% polyester, giving the surface a practical woven handle with a gently textured look. In this colourway, the leaves sit in a muted mushroom tone that is warm rather than grey, so the design feels calm, natural and slightly heathered against the pale background. The repeat is generous enough to show the flowing stems and slender leaves clearly, while the overall effect stays soft and understated.

How to use it

Use it on a sofa, armchair or bench where the mushroom ground can soften timber, stone and plaster finishes. It works especially well with oat, sand and aged brass accents, keeping the room relaxed but polished.

A muted leaf pattern that feels calm and easy to layer with natural woods and linen textures.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Jess FR Mushroom without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
