Tangier Dove

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Tangier Dove has a softly tailored rhythm, with vertical striping that reads in layers of dove grey, mink and pale mushroom. The woven surface gives the design a restrained depth, so the pattern feels crisp without looking harsh.

About this fabric

Woven in a 140cm width with a 38cm pattern repeat, Tangier Dove combines 61% polyester, 21% vis and 18% cotton for a practical mixed-fibre fabric. The surface shows slender bar-like stripes that alternate between chalkier light bands and deeper taupe-brown accents, creating a calm, architectural effect. Its dove-toned palette is muted and cool-leaning, with just enough warmth in the darker lines to keep it from feeling flat. This is a fabric that brings visual structure without heaviness, making the pattern feel refined and easy to live with.

How to use it

Use Tangier Dove on an accent chair, banquette or tailored headboard where the vertical rhythm can sharpen the room. It works especially well with stone, putty and weathered wood, where the soft taupe-grey tones can sit quietly but still define the scheme.

Pairs neatly with pale oak and warm stone for a quietly tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
