Stavanger Natural

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Stavanger Natural shows a softly striated surface in warm oatmeal beige, with pale cream bands and fine sandy flecks running across the cloth. The overall effect is calm and textured, with just enough tonal variation to keep the weave visually active.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in 75% polyester and 25% cotton, giving Stavanger Natural a practical, upholstery-friendly feel while still suiting drapery where a more substantial cloth is wanted. The 140cm width makes it straightforward for larger domestic projects, and the 30cm pattern repeat should be allowed for when cutting. Visually, the colourway sits in a gentle natural palette of oatmeal, flax and pale biscuit, with tiny honeyed specks that lift the surface without making it look busy. The horizontal slubbed texture gives it a relaxed, organic character rather than a sharp or formal finish.

How to use it

Use Stavanger Natural to bring warmth to plain seating, Roman blinds or full-height curtains where a soft neutral is needed. Its muted beige tone works especially well with oak, chalk white, stone and brushed brass.

A warm, textural neutral that layers easily with wood, linen and soft metallic accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
