Stavanger Emerald

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Stavanger Emerald is a lively woven fabric with a stepped, block-like stripe effect in emerald green and soft ivory. The textured surface gives the colourway a crisp, graphic feel without losing its handwoven character.

About this fabric

This colourway combines cool emerald green with ivory and pale stone notes, so the pattern reads fresh rather than heavy. The surface has a slubbed, slightly speckled texture that softens the geometric repeat and gives the weave a tactile, crafted look. Supplied at 140cm wide with a 30cm pattern repeat, and composed of 75% polyester and 25% cotton, it offers a practical cloth with a decorative finish. The balanced mid-weight appearance makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery where a smart striped texture is wanted.

How to use it

Use Stavanger Emerald on an accent chair, bench or tailored curtains where the green can bring structure and colour to a pale room. It works especially well with warm white walls, timber, and brass details to highlight the cool depth of the emerald tone.

Pair with walnut, linen and brushed brass for a crisp, contemporary scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Stavanger Emerald without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
