Gila Aqua

Alta FabricL9349-07

Gila Aqua has a softly mottled, pebble-like surface that reads more muted aqua-grey than bright blue. The texture gives the colourway a calm, worked-in depth with lighter flecks catching the light.

About this fabric

This fabric from Larsen’s Alta collection is composed of 32% Virgin Wool, 31% Polyacrylic, 28% Cotton and 9% Polyester, and it measures approximately 137cm wide. With a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approx., the small-scale texture is created by the weave itself rather than an obvious pattern. In this colourway, the aqua influence is restrained and cool, sitting under a greyed, stone-like base that makes the surface feel grounded rather than vivid. The nubby finish softens the tone and gives the cloth a tactile, upholstery-friendly presence.

How to use it

Use Gila Aqua on armchairs, banquettes or a relaxed sofa where its cool, muted aqua can balance warmer woods and tan leather. It also works well with chalky neutrals and brushed metals for a clean, contemporary scheme.

A cool, pebbled aqua that brings a calm, contemporary feel to tailored seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
