About this fabric

This Linwood Orta colourway is a 137cm-wide plain fabric with a close, nubby weave that gives the surface gentle depth as the light moves across it. Its warm sand base is lifted by understated bronze, oat and olive-grey thread variation, creating a muted golden finish rather than a bright yellow. Made from 43% linen, 51% viscose and 6% polyester, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. The fabric is suitable for Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use Orta Sand to add warmth to a neutral sitting room, where its muted sandy-gold tone works comfortably with chalky whites, oat linens, aged timber and olive accents. Its plain texture is equally useful on fixed seating or full-length curtains when a room needs depth without a printed motif.
