Rubia Ochre

Bibi Fabric

Rubia Ochre brings a warm, earthy glow to the Bibi collection, with ochre-gold flowers and paisley-like botanical forms scattered across a soft cream ground. Black sketch-style outlines give the print definition without losing its relaxed linen character.

About this fabric

The design combines rounded ochre blooms, small gold flecks and curling botanical shapes, all picked out with irregular black and charcoal-style linework. Its cream background keeps the colourway light, while the ochre tones add a distinctly warm, autumnal depth. Rubia Ochre is made from 100% linen at approximately 137cm wide and is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery. It is graded for General Domestic use; allow 3% shrinkage and follow the listed delicate wash at 30°C or dry-cleaning guidance.

How to use it

Use Rubia Ochre on a relaxed armchair, sofa or pair of curtains where its warm gold tones can sit alongside natural wood, cream upholstery and dark-painted accents. The expressive black outlines also make it easy to connect the print with charcoal or aged-bronze details.

A warm ochre botanical print on a cream linen ground, outlined with expressive black linework for considered upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Rubia Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
