About this fabric

The close-up shows a compact woven texture with tiny horizontal and vertical irregularities, creating a restrained natural slub across the dove-grey ground. Its cool grey tone is softened by pale beige and cream threads, so it reads calm and lightly nuanced in changing light. Composed of 43% linen, 51% viscose and 6% polyester, the 137cm-wide fabric is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. After-care is dry clean, and the upholstery grade is Contract, General Domestic.

How to use it

Use Orta Dove to bring a cool, light-neutral layer to curtains, or upholster a tailored chair where its softly flecked weave can add texture without introducing a pattern. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and muted blue-greys to reinforce its calm dove tone.
