About this fabric

Warm taupe-grey vines and curled leaf forms wind through each circular medallion, while the ink-blue ground gives the colourway a cool, slightly smoky depth. Fine square lines contain every motif, so the pattern reads as a regular tiled arrangement rather than a loose all-over design. The wallpaper is 68.6 cm wide and supplied in a standard 10.05 m length, with a 21.3 cm vertical repeat and no horizontal repeat. Its 208 gsm weight supports the dense, clearly defined appearance of the printed design.

How to use it

Use Pure Scroll Ink where its blue-grey depth can anchor lighter stone, chalk or natural wood finishes. In a study or snug, pair the taupe scrollwork with aged brass and warm neutrals to soften the cool ground.

Use the cool ink-blue ground and taupe scrollwork to bring quiet historic character to a study, hallway or sitting room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
