About this wallpaper

The Ink colourway reads as a muted blue-grey with enough depth to feel atmospheric, while the scattered pale flecks keep the surface from appearing flat. Fine horizontal striations run throughout the design, creating a softly weathered, textile-like effect. The irregular marks vary gently in density, so the eye discovers detail across the otherwise calm ground. Catalogued as wallpaper from the Etsu Wallcoverings collection by Romo, it is suited to walls where understated texture is more important than a bold motif.

How to use it

Pair this cool ink blue-grey with pale oak, charcoal upholstery and brushed metal for a calm, tailored scheme. Its softly mottled surface can also temper brighter blue or crisp white furnishings without introducing a strong pattern.

Use this cool ink blue-grey wallpaper to bring layered depth and quiet texture to contemporary or tailored interiors.

Pairs well with

Elkin Wallcovering Ink is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
