Elkin Wallcovering Egret

Elkin Wallcovering Egret has a quiet, almost-white presence, with delicate tonal variation creating the look of a fine, lightly weathered weave. Its restrained surface texture adds interest without introducing a visible motif.

About this wallpaper

The colour reads as soft ivory with a faint cool grey cast, rather than a strong creamy yellow. Across the surface, fine broken marks and subtle horizontal variation create a gently mottled, textile-like effect. The close tonal range keeps the design calm and understated, while the changing pale threads give the wall a little depth in the light. As a wallpaper from Romo’s Etsu Wallcoverings collection, it is suited to schemes that need texture without a bold pattern.

How to use it

Pair this pale ivory wallcovering with chalky whites, light oak and soft grey upholstery for an airy, quietly tailored room. Its low-contrast texture also works well behind darker wood or brushed metal, where the Egret tone can soften the overall scheme.

Use this pale ivory wallcovering to bring subtle woven texture and a calm, light-toned finish to refined interiors.

Pairs well with

Elkin Wallcovering Egret is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
