Gaia White

Hillside FabricL9365-01

Gaia White is a softly layered botanical fabric in an ivory-white palette, with the leaf pattern reading tonally rather than in hard contrast. The design feels airy and restrained, letting the weave and pattern depth do the talking.

About this fabric

Gaia White from Larsen’s Hillside collection combines 47% cotton, 37% viscose and 16% linen in a fabric that feels balanced and versatile. The cloth appears mid-weight, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapery, and the 136cm width gives useful coverage for larger schemes. Its repeated leaf-and-frond motif is picked out in a very pale, soft ivory tone, so the pattern stays subtle and low-contrast against the base. The overall effect is fresh and quiet rather than bright, with a gently textural surface that suits the smart, natural character of the design.

How to use it

This pale white colourway works well on an upholstered armchair, bench or occasional headboard where you want pattern without visual heaviness. Pair it with warm timber, stone and muted greens to keep the botanical detail soft and refined.

Use for calm, layered schemes where the pale leaf pattern can sit quietly against richer natural textures.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
