Moro Midnight

Hillside FabricL9362-04

Moro Midnight pairs a crisp block pattern with a cool, dark palette that reads as blue-grey against a pale ground. The woven surface gives the design a quietly textured, tailored look.

About this fabric

Moro Midnight from Larsen’s Hillside is a fabric with a repeat of approximately V 21cm and H 40cm, woven to a width of about 120cm. Its composition of 64% viscose, 26% polyester and 10% linen gives the cloth a refined handle and a subtle lustre that lifts the darker threads. In this colourway, the design alternates between deep midnight blue blocks and softened ivory bands, creating a calm, architectural rhythm. The surface looks tactile rather than flat, with the weave adding visible grain and definition to the geometric layout. With its smart finish and balanced body, it suits both upholstery and drapery where a strong but restrained pattern is wanted.

How to use it

This midnight palette works well with pale oak, chalky whites and brushed metal finishes, where the blue-grey motif can stay sharp. It would also anchor a study, dining chair or curtain scheme that needs pattern without visual noise.

Use it for tailored upholstery or structured curtains where the blue-and-ivory blocks can read clearly.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
