About this fabric

This Larsen fabric is a wool-rich blend of 25% Wool, 22% Acrylic, 22% Polyester, 21% Viscose and 10% Cotton, giving the cloth a textured, substantial handle with a clear woven definition. The Ocean colourway reads as muted blue-grey, with a slightly chalky cast that lets the lighter raised threads stand out against the deeper ground. Its wavy repeat and layered linear texture create movement without feeling busy, and the approx. 144cm width makes it practical for a range of interior applications. The 67cm vertical and 72cm horizontal repeat give the design a strong, rhythmic pattern that feels tailored rather than casual.

How to use it

Use Idaho Ocean on a sofa, armchair or headboard when you want a cool, considered pattern with enough structure to anchor the room. It also works well as curtains or blinds in a scheme of pale timber, putty, and weathered blue accents.

Pair with pale oak or chalky neutrals to keep the cool, rippled pattern feeling fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
