Highland Mastic

Idaho FabricL9402-02

Highland Mastic shows the Idaho weave in a soft, sandy beige with a gentle woolly depth. The close, small-scale texture gives the cloth a calm, tactile finish rather than a flat solid look.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a warm mastic beige with a lightly mottled surface, where the pale ground is broken by a subtle grid of woven flecks. The fabric is a practical mid-weight textile, composed of 46% Cotton, 40% Wool, 7% Acrylic, 6% Polyester and 1% Polyamide, and it measures approximately 143cm wide. Its repeat is very small at around V 1cm / H 1cm, so the texture feels finely worked and unobtrusive across larger areas. The understated tone and the resilient fibre mix make it a versatile choice for everyday interiors, while the √BM fire code adds useful specification detail for project use.

How to use it

Use Highland Mastic on a tailored armchair, banquette or loose covers where its warm beige tone can soften timber and stone. It also works well at the window with pale linens, adding quiet texture without darkening the room.

A softly neutral weave that brings quiet warmth to both upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
