About this fabric

Montecito Clay from Larsen’s Jack collection is a 149cm approx. wide fabric woven in 66% Linen, 24% Wool, 5% Polyester and 5% Polyamide. The swatch reads as a warm clay beige, with a muted sandy base and softly mottled highlights that lift the surface without making it look busy. Its plain repeat (V 0cm / H 0cm approx.) keeps the cloth calm and versatile, while the visible slubbed texture adds natural character. The overall effect is smart, relaxed and tailored rather than rustic, with enough body for upholstery and enough softness for drapery.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a sofa or armchair where you want a grounded neutral with a little warmth in the weave. It also suits full-length curtains in schemes built around oak, linen, stone and aged brass.

A warm, textural neutral that works beautifully across upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
