About this fabric

Woven in a 66% linen, 24% wool, 5% polyester and 5% polyamide blend, Montecito Birch has the tactile character of a natural fabric with a little added stability. The repeat is 0cm vertically and horizontally, so the effect is clean and textural rather than patterned. At approximately 149cm wide, it offers practical width for larger furnishings, and the visible slubbed weave gives the colourway a softly mottled, light-reflective finish. The birch shade sits between beige and pale stone, making it feel airy, warm and easy to live with.

How to use it

Use Montecito Birch on relaxed sofas, loose covers or Roman blinds where its quiet texture can soften sharper architectural lines. It pairs especially well with oak, chalk white and muted olive for a calm, layered interior.

A calm birch-toned neutral with enough texture to work beautifully on both upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
