About this fabric

Whistler Bone from Larsen’s Idaho collection is a 142cm-wide fabric with a no-repeat design, making the subtle texture the focus rather than any large pattern effect. The composition blends 29% linen with polyester, viscose, cotton and wool, which helps create the nubbly, tactile surface visible in the swatch. In this colourway, the tone reads as a light bone cream with a faintly warm cast, sitting between ivory and soft oatmeal. The finish feels softly irregular and textural, with tiny loops and flecks that catch the light without looking shiny. It is a versatile cloth for schemes that need calm warmth rather than a stark white.

How to use it

Use Whistler Bone on an accent chair, ottoman or tailored curtains where its pale, textured surface can lift a room without dominating it. It pairs especially well with blond woods, plastery neutrals and gentle grey-beige paintwork.

A soft bone cream that works beautifully across both upholstery and curtains for a calm, natural scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
