About this fabric

This colourway reads as a restrained blue with a greyed, slightly dusty cast, giving it a flatter, more contemporary mood than a bright aqua or navy. The surface has a fine, even texture that catches the light gently rather than showing a strong pile or obvious weave. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 severe contract rub test and a substantial 438 grams per linear metre. At 146 cm wide, it is a practical choice for larger furnishings where a clean plain with dependable performance is needed.

How to use it

Use Alaska Topaz on a pared-back sofa, banquette or curtains where its cool blue-grey tone can soften wood, stone and matte metal. It pairs especially well with crisp white, charcoal and pale oak for a composed, modern finish.

A cool, versatile blue-grey that works cleanly on tailored upholstery or relaxed drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
