About this fabric

Across the paper-white ground, pale grey stems, leaves and open poppy heads create a densely arranged floral design with a fine embroidered texture. The restrained grey is cool and softly diffused rather than strongly contrasting, allowing the drawn outlines and petal shading to emerge gently in the light. At 264gsm with 27 threads per cm, this is a substantial mid-weight textile suited to both drapery and considered upholstery applications. It has a 133.5cm usable width, with a 47cm vertical repeat and 68.5cm horizontal repeat for planning the pattern across a project.

How to use it

The cool paper-white base and quiet grey floral detail work especially well as full-length curtains in a light room, or on a chair where the repeated poppy heads can be appreciated at close range.

Use this cool paper-white and pale-grey colourway for airy curtains, occasional upholstery or a softly layered neutral scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
