About this fabric

This 201gsm textile combines a softly textured beige ground with ivory botanical forms, creating a gentle tonal contrast rather than a strongly outlined print. The repeating composition includes scrolling leaves, flowers and bird details, with a 55cm vertical repeat and 45.5cm horizontal repeat. At 138.3cm usable width, it offers a practical mid-weight scale for both drapery and upholstery applications. The fabric is supplied in a standard 60m length and has 31.8 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use this warm flax colourway to bring subtle pattern to relaxed curtains, a reading-chair cushion or a pair of upholstered occasional chairs. Its pale ivory detail sits naturally with chalky whites, oatmeal linens and warm timber.

A softly warm flax ground with ivory foliage and bird detail, equally suited to curtains, cushions and occasional upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pure Strawberry Thief Flax without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
