Bird & Pomegranate Bayleaf/Cream

Morris 160th Anniversary Wallpaper WallpaperMOW0036-03

Bird & Pomegranate Bayleaf/Cream brings a soft, leafy garden scene to the wall, with branching stems, textured pomegranates and small perched birds across a warm cream ground. The bayleaf greens read muted and gently cool beside the restrained red fruit.

About this fabric

The design is visibly dense with curling brown stems, layered bayleaf leaves, speckled pomegranates and illustrated birds, giving the cream ground plenty of tonal movement without a harsh contrast. Its 61cm vertical repeat allows the botanical composition to unfold in a substantial, easily readable rhythm; the horizontal repeat is listed as 0cm. Each standard length measures 10.05m, with a 52cm usable width and a supplied weight of 181gsm.

How to use it

Use this Bayleaf/Cream colourway where its softened green foliage can sit against natural timber, warm cream paint or quiet stone shades. It suits a study, dining room or bedroom wall where the birds and fruit can be appreciated at close range.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bird & Pomegranate Bayleaf/Cream without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
