About this fabric

This is a substantial 416gsm velvet, making it particularly well suited to upholstery and structured furniture. The visible pattern alternates stylised floral medallions with pointed, leaf-like forms, connected by pale curling stems and dense charcoal tracery. Its cool grey-beige ground keeps the overall impression muted, while olive green, aged ochre and ivory accents bring depth without making the colourway feel bright. The fabric has a 131cm usable width, with a 49.5cm vertical repeat and 43.5cm horizontal repeat for considered pattern placement.

How to use it

Pair this grey and charcoal colourway with warm timber, aged brass and plain linen in soft oatmeal shades. On a statement armchair or sofa, the olive and ochre motifs can provide subtle contrast against otherwise neutral surroundings.
