Morris and Friends Volume I Fabrics FabricMOF0053-02

About this fabric

The design combines cowslip-like blooms, leafy sprays and fine curling stems in sage and olive greens, with muted saffron-yellow flower heads set against a warm ivory ground. Pale rose accents appear quietly within the outlines, adding warmth without overpowering the green and yellow palette. With a 137 cm useable width and a 300 gsm weight, this is a substantial mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery. Its 100 cm vertical repeat and 70 cm horizontal repeat create a clearly visible, continuously scrolling floral arrangement, while the 52 threads-per-cm construction gives the surface a close, even appearance. Standard lengths are supplied at 60 m.

How to use it

Use it on a reading chair, bench or full-length curtains where the ivory ground can brighten the room while the fennel-green foliage supplies structure. Pair the muted saffron flowers with warm timber, chalky paintwork or restrained rose accents rather than highly saturated colour.

Use the ivory ground with fennel-green foliage and soft saffron blooms to bring gentle botanical colour to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
