Golden Lily Minor Biscuit/Indigo/Red

Morris and Friends Volume II Fabrics FabricMOF0012-02

Golden Lily Minor Biscuit/Indigo/Red has a softly weathered biscuit ground crowded with curling olive foliage, fine indigo tracery and small, saturated red flowers. The close-set botanical pattern reads richly layered rather than brightly decorative.

About this fabric

The muted biscuit base gives this colourway a warm, aged foundation, while olive leaves and indigo outlines add cool depth; the scattered red flowers provide carefully placed points of colour. Its fine surface texture helps the intricate scrolling stems and compact floral details catch the light without looking glossy. With a 27 cm vertical repeat and 31 cm horizontal repeat, the pattern remains densely continuous across the 137 cm usable width. At 235 gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use this warm biscuit, olive and indigo colourway on a traditionally shaped chair, roman blind or full curtain, then echo the small red accents in cushions or ceramic details. Its dense scale works especially well against plain linen, aged wood and softly coloured walls.

Pair the olive-biscuit ground with warm timber, aged brass and restrained indigo accents for a richly traditional room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
