Golden Lily Mineral

Morris and Friends Volume II Fabrics FabricMOF0013-03

Golden Lily Mineral shows a densely drawn floral trail over a cool mineral blue-green ground. Sage and olive foliage, creamy flowers and small pink blooms give the swatch a softly varied, richly layered appearance.

About this fabric

At 380 gsm, this fabric has a substantial mid-weight presence suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The 53 cm vertical and 68.5 cm horizontal pattern repeats organise curling stems, tulip-like pink flowers and larger cream-and-green blooms across the surface. Its 137 cm usable width allows the closely packed design to read continuously on wider panels, while the mineral blue-green base keeps the overall impression cool and muted rather than brightly saturated. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair the mineral blue-green ground with warm ivory, weathered wood and sage upholstery, using the small pink flowers as a restrained accent in cushions or trims. It also brings depth to curtains in rooms that need colour without a strong, high-contrast statement.

Use this cool, garden-like colourway on tailored seating, loose covers or full-length curtains where its pink and sage accents can be picked out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
