About this fabric

The pattern is filled with curling stems, feathery fronds, stylised seaweed forms and small pale blue blooms, creating clear depth against the dark cobalt field. Thyme-green leaves soften the intensity of the blue while retaining a rich, garden-inspired character. At 230 gsm and 139 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The design has a 70.5 cm vertical repeat and 69.5 cm horizontal repeat, with 92 threads per centimetre.

How to use it

Use the cobalt ground to anchor a reading chair, banquette or full-length curtains, then echo the thyme foliage in plain cushions or painted woodwork. Pale blue accents will pick up the small flowers without competing with the dense botanical repeat.

Use this cool, richly detailed colourway for statement upholstery, curtains or layered soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
