Honeysuckle & Tulip Charcoal/Gold

Morris 160th Anniversary Wallpaper WallpaperMOW0047-02

Honeysuckle & Tulip Charcoal/Gold combines a deep charcoal-grey ground with pale, full-petalled blooms and curling foliage in muted olive and antique gold. The low-contrast palette gives the dense floral pattern a composed, softly vintage appearance.

About this fabric

Cream and soft white honeysuckle and tulip-like flowers stand out across the charcoal ground, while olive, khaki and muted-gold leaves add warmth through the darker field. The subdued gold catches the eye without becoming bright, giving the colourway a quietly weathered depth. This wallpaper has a 64 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat, allowing the floral arrangement to run in considered vertical drops. Each standard roll measures 10.05 m, with a 68.6 cm useable width and a listed weight of 176 gsm.

How to use it

Use this charcoal-and-gold colourway behind a bed, in a dining room or across a reading nook where its pale flowers can lift the deep ground. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and muted olive textiles to echo the foliage without competing with the pattern.

Use this charcoal and muted-gold floral to bring layered pattern and softly aged warmth to a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
