Golden Lily Slate/Manilla

Morris 160th Anniversary Wallpaper WallpaperMOW0029-04

Golden Lily Slate/Manilla brings oversized stylised lilies, curling foliage and smaller florals together on a cool slate-blue ground. Manilla petals and muted terracotta details give the dense pattern a softly aged, illustrated character.

About this fabric

The design is built from large, radiating lily blooms, curling blue-grey leaves, seed heads and small flowers, with cream-manilla petals standing out against the slate ground. Muted terracotta and soft olive accents add restrained warmth without overpowering the cooler blue-grey tones. This wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and a 46 cm vertical pattern repeat; the supplied horizontal repeat is 0 cm. Each standard length is 10.05 m and the stated weight is 198 gsm.

How to use it

Use the cool slate-blue ground across a study, bedroom or snug, then pick up the manilla petals in painted woodwork or natural upholstery. Muted terracotta accessories will echo the small warm details in the flowers without competing with the large lilies.

Use this cool slate-blue ground with warm manilla woodwork and muted terracotta accents for a layered heritage scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
