About this fabric

The design shows upright trees, leafy branches, perched birds and scattered flowers across a warm cream background, with woad-blue birds and leaves providing a cool counterpoint to wine, rust and ochre accents. Its 260gsm weight and 36.6 threads per centimetre give the fabric a substantial, closely made feel suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 79.5cm vertical repeat and 137cm horizontal repeat create a generous pattern scale, allowing the tree forms to remain prominent when positioned. A usable width of 137cm makes the repeating woodland composition practical to plan across larger fabric panels.

How to use it

Use this Woad/Wine colourway on an occasional chair, headboard or full-length curtains where the cream ground can lighten the scheme while the blue and wine details connect with painted furniture, rugs or cushions. It works especially well with warm timber and restrained neutral walls, which allow the detailed tree pattern to remain the focal point.
