Shimmer Duck Egg

Misc Fabric

Shimmer Duck Egg shows a softly striated surface with a pale, cool sheen that shifts between duck egg blue, misty taupe and blush-beige. The overall effect is calm and airy, with the shimmer catching the light in a subtle, almost pearly way.

About this fabric

This fabric is supplied with a 145cm width and a 30cm pattern repeat, and its 66% polyester, 34% viscose composition gives the surface a smooth, light-reflective finish. In this colourway, the design reads as a faded duck egg ground overlaid with delicate vertical movement and scattered blue-green accents. The muted palette keeps the pattern understated, while the fine sheen adds depth without making it feel heavy. NQT1 care instructions apply, so it is a practical decorative cloth for schemes that want colour with a soft lustre.

How to use it

Pair Shimmer Duck Egg with chalky whites, pale oak and brushed nickel for a fresh, understated room. It works especially well where you want a cool blue note that still feels gentle rather than crisp.

Use to bring a cool, gently iridescent note to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
