About this fabric

Woven in 66% Polyester and 34% Viscose, this 145cm-wide fabric has a fluid, gently lustrous handle that gives the surface a subtle depth. The 30cm pattern repeat creates broad, clouded bands of tone and texture rather than a sharp graphic effect, so the design feels more painterly than formal. In this colourway, the purple notes are softened by smoky brown and plum undertones, with the sheen lifting the lighter areas and deepening the darker motifs. It is a versatile textile with enough body for both upholstery and drapery, depending on the finished look you want.

How to use it

Use Shimmer Aubergine on an accent chair, headboard or full-length curtains where its smoky purple sheen can catch the light. It pairs well with warm neutrals, walnut woods and brushed brass for a dressed, intimate scheme.
