About this fabric

This plain velvet has a subtle horizontal nap that catches the light in gentle bands, softening the olive tone rather than making it shine. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for contract use and carries a 30,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for hard-working interiors. The back-coated finish is supplied to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request. Wipeable or professional dry clean in situ care helps keep the surface looking tidy while preserving the rich, matte texture.

How to use it

Use this olive velvet on statement armchairs, banquettes or headboards where its muted colour can add warmth without overpowering the room. It pairs especially well with natural oak, aged brass and warm neutrals for a calm, contemporary scheme.
