About this fabric

This plain velvet has a quiet, even pile that catches the light with a gentle horizontal sheen, giving the surface a subtle chalky softness. The pebble grey colour reads cool and restrained, with a slightly silvery depth rather than a strong silver shine. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for contract use and has a Martindale rub count of 30,000, making it suitable for hard-wearing seating. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with wipeable or professional dry clean in situ care advised.

How to use it

Use this pale grey velvet on clean-lined sofas, slipper chairs or banquettes where its soft sheen can lift a scheme without dominating it. The cool neutral tone pairs neatly with charcoal, oak and crisp white for a tailored, contemporary look.
