About this fabric

This colourway in the Soulful collection is a restrained French grey, sitting in a pale, cool register with just enough tonal variation to keep the surface from feeling flat. The visible texture has a gently striated, slubby character that gives the plain design depth and a hand-crafted feel. Made from 100% recycled polyester, it is specified for Heavy Domestic use and has a Martindale rub test of 40,000, so it is well suited to everyday seating and other hard-working upholstered pieces. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available upon request, and should be professionally dry cleaned in situ.

How to use it

Use this French grey as a clean base on sofas, headboards, or dining chairs where you want texture more than pattern. Its cool, muted tone pairs especially well with chalk white, stone, and natural timber, while keeping a room feeling crisp rather than stark.
