About this fabric

This plain from the Soulful collection is woven in 100% recycled polyester and has a visible slubbed, linen-inspired surface that reads as a muted taupe hessian. With a Martindale of 40,000 and heavy domestic usage, it is well suited to everyday seating where a durable finish matters. The colour sits between warm grey and beige, giving it an easy, versatile neutrality without looking stark. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it is practical for upholstery projects that need both visual softness and dependable performance.

How to use it

Use this shade on sofas, armchairs or banquettes where a calm, natural tone is needed to balance timber, stone and darker accent colours. It also works well as a grounding neutral alongside warmer ochres, olive greens or charcoal trims.
