About this fabric

This Meteorite colourway reads as a cool-to-neutral taupe, softened by tiny flecks that give the cloth a gently mottled, pebble-like appearance. The 52% polyester and 48% cotton composition helps create a practical upholstery cloth with a firm, slightly nubbly handle, while the 40,000 Martindale makes it suitable for heavy domestic use. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it offers added reassurance for seating projects. Its restrained, earthy depth keeps it versatile without looking flat, and the plain design feels refined rather than rustic.

How to use it

Use Meteorite on a sofa, armchair, or banquette where you want a grounded neutral with a little more texture than a flat grey. It pairs especially well with pale oak, black metal, stone, and warm off-whites.

A quietly tailored taupe that sits neatly with natural woods, slate, and soft neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
