About this fabric

This colourway shows a mellow ochre-gold tone with a slightly heathered effect across the weave, so it reads warm and understated rather than saturated yellow. The close plain construction gives the surface a tactile, nubby character that suits the fabric's practical feel. Made from 52% polyester and 48% cotton, it is specified for heavy domestic use and carries a 40,000 Martindale rating, making it a strong choice for everyday seating. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and after care is professional dry clean in situ, with further guidance in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use this ochre on an accent chair, banquette or cushions where its soft golden tone can warm up timber, stone and neutral upholstery. It works especially well with olive, clay and natural linen shades.
