About this fabric

Woven in 52% polyester and 48% cotton, Paolo Pearl is specified for heavy domestic use and carries a 40,000 Martindale rating, making it a practical choice for everyday seating. The surface visible here is a fine, gently speckled plain weave, with a soft matte sheen that catches the light more than it reflects it. This colourway sits in a warm pearl-cream range rather than a cool optic white, so it feels softer and more forgiving in use. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and should be professionally dry cleaned in situ with further care as noted in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use this pearl shade on larger upholstery pieces where you want texture to show but colour to stay quiet, such as a sofa, headboard, or dining chairs. It pairs neatly with pale oak, putty neutrals, and muted metallic accents for a calm, tailored scheme.
