Osaka Marble

Osaka Fabric14

Osaka Marble is a softly textured neutral with a warm oatmeal base and subtle marled striping running through the weave. Its low-contrast, clouded surface gives the fabric a relaxed depth rather than a flat solid finish.

About this fabric

This Osaka colourway shows a pale cream and beige ground with fine grey-brown flecks and irregular marble-like striations that read calm and lived-in. The surface has a nubby, boucle-like handle that catches the light across the raised yarns, giving the plain design more movement than a smooth weave. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for heavy domestic use and carries a 40,000 Martindale rating, making it a practical choice for seating. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and should be professionally dry cleaned in situ.

How to use it

Its soft oatmeal tone works beautifully with pale oak, limestone and brushed metal, especially where you want a quiet, textural neutral. Use it on an armchair, sofa or banquette to soften a room without adding visual weight.

A softly speckled neutral that brings texture and ease to hardworking seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
