About this fabric

This colourway shows a pale cream ground with a subtly speckled, textured weave that catches the light without looking glossy. Woven in 52% Polyester and 48% Cotton, Paolo is specified for Heavy Domestic use and has a Martindale rating of 40,000, making it a practical choice as well as a decorative one. The back-coated construction is supplied to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and the professional dry clean in situ care instruction supports its made-to-measure suitability. Its soft, chalky tone keeps the plain surface looking gentle and refined rather than stark.

How to use it

Use Paolo Chiffon to soften darker timber, brass, or painted finishes, where its warm cream tone will lift the room without feeling cold. It is especially effective on smart upholstery pieces, or as a quiet drapery fabric where you want texture more than pattern.
