Paolo Bamboo

Paolo Fabric249

Paolo Bamboo reads as a softly heathered bamboo beige with a subtle woven texture and a warm, earthy glow. The close, pebble-like surface gives it a calm, natural character rather than a flat solid finish.

About this fabric

This plain from the Paolo collection is composed of 52% Polyester and 48% Cotton, and it is specified for Heavy Domestic use with a 40,000 Martindale rating. The swatch shows a warm bamboo-beige ground with gentle tonal variation, where lighter flecks sit against a slightly deeper tan base. Its compact weave looks firm and upholstery-friendly, while the back-coated finish is supplied to Cigarette & Match BS5852 for added reassurance. Professional dry clean in situ is recommended, with further care notes in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use this shade on a sofa, banquette or dining chair where you want a grounded neutral with more warmth than grey. It pairs neatly with oak, rattan, linen and muted olive accents, and its soft depth keeps larger pieces from feeling stark.

A warm neutral that brings an easy, natural softness to tailored seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
