About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted trench-coat beige with a subtle taupe undertone, giving the velvet a dry, grounded look in the pile. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for contract use and has a Martindale abrasion rating of 30,000, making it suitable for busy seating schemes. The fabric is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and the after-care guidance notes wipeable or professional dry clean in situ. Its plain surface and soft directional sheen make the tone feel relaxed but polished, especially where light skims across the pile.

How to use it

Use this shade on banquettes, occasional chairs or headboards where a warm neutral is needed without introducing stark cream. It pairs neatly with dark timber, smoked metal and earthy accent colours.

A calm neutral velvet that brings a soft, tailored finish to contract seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
