About this fabric

This colourway sits in a soft cream and hessian-beige range, with tiny flecks and raised loops that give the plain surface plenty of depth. In the Osaka collection by J Brown, it is a 100% polyester fabric designed for heavy domestic use, with a 40,000 Martindale rating for everyday durability. The back-coated finish is supplied to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and other treatments are available on request. Its matte, textured face catches the light gently, making the shade feel warmer and more relaxed than a flat ivory.

How to use it

Use this oatmeal cream on sofas, armchairs or banquettes where the texture can soften straight silhouettes. It pairs especially well with timber, linen and muted stone tones for a calm, layered room.

A warm neutral with enough texture to soften clean-lined seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
